The social issue addressed in this meme would be racism, and the oppression of black people in society. I engaged my audiences by asking a question which can be interpreted and answered in many different ways. The visual supports the words because it looks dramatic, but it shows an African American man standing looking to be freed by the chains that society put on him. This is important to me because I'm African American and besides being held down by society we are oppressed by society and although we may have the same opportunities as white people that doesn't mean we will get the good job or get that same money as the white man has, it'll impact others because it will provide the perspective of how we feel and how we view society an how it treats people of color.
The issue addressed in this meme would be America and how Obama created a legacy and is more of a moral person than Trump. I engage my audience into this meme by showing them two different people , two different perspectives of class and elegance. The visual element of this meme that supports my argument is shows how one person has a legacy behind him and the other one has a list o scandals and lies behind him. This is important to me because for one it shows the mindset of America, and how like Obama looks like he has class and has morals and goes on a good campaign while Trump lies and is a bigot in many ways and doesn't even know how to run the country, this shows other what they chose to be in office and what. they had in office.

this issue addresses woman in society and how they are told to keep silent by their partners and they don't feel like its safe for them to speak out in a men dominated world where it has to the womans fault for anything that happens to them. for example rape, domestic violence, sexual abuse, abuse in general. So im making the statement that its not the womans fault, and that they shouldn't keep silent about anything they feel violates their rights as woman of the United States. |
